Voluntary Cosmetic Reporting Program

The Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program (VCRP) is an FDA post-market reporting system for use by manufacturers, packers, and distributors of cosmetics products that are in commercial distribution in the United States. The VCRP helps FDA in its mission to protect consumers and gives cosmetics manufacturers and distributors access to valuable information that supports the safety evaluation of ingredients. The greater the participation by the cosmetics industry, the more efficient the program, and the better it benefits companies directly.
