Consumer demand for sustainable packaging has gone beyond recyclability and is now advancing the concept of circularity, a process that uses a design-based approach to assess materials in a closed-loop system. Regulators are also starting to take note, with the European Commission introducing the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation to adopt a broad ecodesign framework for products in the EU market.

On April 23, join PCPC and a panel of experts as they identify some of the main obstacles in designing and marketing truly circular personal care packaging and discuss innovative solutions being tested in the market. In addition, the discussion will provide real-life examples of circular packaging and communications strategies that empower consumers to appropriately engage with packaging at a product’s end of life.
