Look Good Feel Better Foundation

As part of the industry’s commitment to consumers and philanthropic efforts, the Personal Care Products Council established the Look Good Feel Better Foundation (formerly the Personal Care Products Council Foundation), which pioneered the groundbreaking Look Good Feel Better public service program that improves the quality of life, self-esteem and confidence of people with cancer by helping them to manage the appearance side effects of cancer treatment. Through free group workshops, online and virtual support, and expert beauty content and instruction, Look Good Feel Better helps women, men and teens regain a sense of normalcy and control, empowering them to harness the power of hope and beauty to face the challenge of a lifetime.

Look Good Feel Better has served 1 million women in the United States alone since the program was founded in 1989. In addition to providing financial support, each year the cosmetics industry donates products to be used by participants in the program. In 2017, the cosmetics industry donated more than 1.26 million pieces of cosmetic and skin care products to Look Good Feel Better, valued at nearly $21.5 million. The program is offered in collaboration with the Professional Beauty Association. In addition to the U.S. Look Good Feel Better program, the Look Good Feel Better Foundation oversees a global network of 25 licensed affiliates that deliver Look Good Feel Better support programs in countries across the globe. Collectively, the 26-country network has served 2 million people living with cancer on six continents.
