PCPC is expanding the International Regulatory Database (IRDB) with—for the first time—U.S. federal regulations and state regulatory actions, along with new search and AI enhancements. IRDB helps users access and easily navigate regulatory documents and ingredient restrictions from more than 120 countries, as well as U.S. federal requirements and state-level regulations in jurisdictions that have enacted relevant laws. It is the only cosmetic regulatory database with a real-time link to INCI monographs, enabling searches using the latest INCI names and CAS numbers. Since 2024, IRDB has undergone significant improvements, including a 30% increase in the number of available documents and many new features designed to improve the user experience.

PCPC will also highlight how IRDB fits within INCIpedia’s broader set of member services, including the web-based International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient database (wINCI) and InfoBase.
