PCPC Early Career Microbiologist Award

Microbiologists play an essential role in developing safe, effective and innovative products. This award recognizes outstanding early career biologists in the cosmetics and personal care products industry who are making meaningful contributions to advance our industry.

Candidate applications are reviewed by the PCPC Microbiology Committee.

Nomination Criteria

Nominated individuals are broadly respected across the industry and embody the award criteria. Self-nominations are welcome if the accomplishments meet the award criteria:

  • Open to PCPC members and non-members based in the United States.
  • Candidates should have five years of experience or less in the cosmetics and personal care products industry.
  • Candidates should have contributed to product launches, method development, patents, publications or other remarkable achievements the judges may deem significant.

Applications for the 2025 award are closed. Check back for the 2026 nomination.
