Social Media Toolkit for Advocacy Efforts

The U.S. cosmetic and personal care products industry is happy to work with legislators in the development of evidence-based scientifically sound reviews of cosmetic ingredients. One-off legislative bans fail to provide predictable, science-based regulatory environments for cosmetics companies. If enacted, some proposed bills will have a devastating impact on local communities and small business owners while providing no meaningful health benefit to consumers. The best method for regulating ingredients is through a regulatory process that takes into account both hazard and exposure.
