Michael Loewenstein is Vice President of Scientific Consulting at Q Laboratories, LLC. He advises pharmaceutical, personal care, and consumer product manufacturers on microbiological quality, contamination control, rapid microbiological methods (RMMs), and regulatory compliance.

A frequent speaker and author on applied microbiology, quality systems, and emerging microbiological technologies, Michael serves as Chair of the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) Microbiology Committee, is a member of the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Official Methods Board, and serves as Chair of the AOAC AIMS Legionella Working Group. Prior to joining Q Laboratories, he held Corporate R&D Microbiology and Manufacturing Quality roles at Procter & Gamble.
