Laurie has more than 20 years of experience in complex litigation, with a strong emphasis on pharmaceutical and personal care products defense. She has represented clients in multidistrict litigation, mass torts, consolidated proceedings, and class actions, as well as individual cases in state and federal courts nationwide.

Laurie’s work for her clients extends well beyond the courtroom. She regularly counsels companies on risk mitigation, claims handling, and the business dimensions of product liability — helping clients make informed decisions that balance legal exposure with commercial realities. She has significant experience with wrongful death and catastrophic injury matters, and has worked with experts across a broad range of sciences, industries, and technologies. Laurie also advises clients on labeling compliance, marketing and advertising, recalls, and risk management. She has helped companies assess corrective action, analyze emerging litigation trends, and develop proactive strategies to minimize future exposure.

In addition to her legal practice, Laurie has devoted considerable time to firm leadership and culture — participating in attorney recruiting, mentoring, supporting associate development, and advising on workplace flexibility initiatives. She is also a member of the firm’s Women’s Management Council.
