Jonathan Hicks

Jon Hicks is Senior Director, International Trade and Regulatory Affairs for the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC). Hicks manages PCPC’s issue advocacy for Canada and the Oceania region, oversees the International Regulatory Database, represents PCPC to the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation (ICCR), and contributes to other global regulatory harmonization initiatives. He also led PCPC’s advocacy and education initiatives on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s cosmetic facility registration and product listing authorities.

Prior to joining PCPC, Hicks served as Policy Analyst at the U.S. FDA, Office of Cosmetics and Colors. At FDA, he managed laboratory research and information technology projects, represented FDA to the ICCR, contributed to various regulatory initiatives, and conducted export certificate, compliance, and facility registration reviews.

Hicks graduated from American University with a B.A. in Political Science and an M.P.P. in Public Policy.
