Dr. Suzanne Hartigan is a Senior Director of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs for the American Chemistry Council. Suzanne focuses on regulatory science policy issues relating to chemicals management and chemical risk assessment, with a primary focus on TSCA implementation. Suzanne also serves as the staff liaison to the ACC Chemicals Management and Science Policy Committee.
Prior to joining ACC in October 2017, Suzanne served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Science Policy for the International Fragrance Association North America. Suzanne also worked as a chemist at SRC, Inc., providing technical support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency New Chemicals Program under the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, and for SOCMA, assisting companies with the new chemicals notification process. Suzanne received her Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of Maryland.
