Catherine Johnson is the founder and principal of Environmental General Counsel (EGC) and founder and Managing Director of EPR Group Consulting. EGC is a Chambers & Partners recognized California environmental law practice. EPR Group is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing EPR and sustainability consulting services on a nationwide basis. Previously, Catherine was a shareholder in two leading Bay Area-based law firms.

Catherine serves on the Advisory Boards of the Executive Committee of the Environmental Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco and of Proposition 65 Clearinghouse News, the leading organization for Prop 65 professionals. She is a member of the National Stewardship Action Council’s SB 54 Working Group. Catherine is a recognized thought leader in the EPR field and publishes and lectures frequently on emerging EPR developments. She graduated from Smith College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
