It’s crucial to wear sunscreen daily and apply it properly to prevent skin cancer, premature aging and sunburn. Currently, less than 12 percent of U.S. adults use sunscreen daily.  

#WearSunscreen aims to educate the U.S. public about the importance of sunscreen use through science-driven, objective information, emphasizing the health benefits of consistent sunscreen application and encouraging proper usage. 

How You Can Help 

  • Share our suggested social media posts (see below) or develop your own posts to share the content and tag us in your posts. 
  • Use #WearSunscreen in your social media posts. 
  • NOTE: Instagram does not support hyperlinks in captions. You must add the link into your Bio (Click “Edit Profile” to add a website URL). Then, direct your followers to the link by adding “Read more at the link in my bio” to your caption. 
  • When posting a photo to your Instagram stories, use a link sticker to link to our page.
