Megan Smith, CPA, is chief financial officer. She is responsible for the financial management, planning, audits and taxes at PCPC.
Prior to joining PCPC, Smith served as vice president and controller at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She oversaw the finance department, including managing the annual budget and audit; providing financial reports and training; and serving as staff liaison to the SHRM Foundation and Council for Global Immigration Finance Committees. Previously, she was vice president of Finance at the American Society for Training & Development.
Smith joined PCPC with more than 24 years of experience in financial management of non-profit organizations. She has managed a variety of staffs and budgets in the non-profit sector and led cross-functional teams to ensure the financial health of the various organizations she has served.
Smith graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a member of ASAE and the Virginia Society of CPAs.
