Tangela Hillery is an experienced oncology social worker, serving for more than seven years as a concierge coordinator at the University of Miami/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. In addition to her work with cancer patients at Sylvester, Hillery has taught in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and worked as a social work associate at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Md. Hillery has combined her experience in education, social work, and healthcare in her role as a dedicated host site manager with Look Good Feel Better. For more than five years, she has connecting women treated at Sylvester Cancer Center with LGFB resources and programming to empower them to face their diagnoses with confidence.

Beyond her career, Hillery has a passion for international travel and food exploration, indulging in diverse cultures, and historical reading, cooking, and baking. Based in Miami, Fla., she holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Florida A&M University.
