PCPC hosted a webinar on March 18, 2025 with the American Halal Foundation on halal regulations and certification for cosmetics worldwide, it featured Indonesia, the first country to mandate halal certification for cosmetics beginning October 2026. 

The global halal cosmetics market is experiencing steady growth. According to Data Bridge Market Research, the market was valued at USD 49.47 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach USD 126.94 billion by 2030. However, cosmetic manufacturers face challenges in navigating the various regulatory and certification standards across different markets.
