The Covid-19 Litigation Landscape: Are You Prepared for the Inevitable Claims?

The unprecedented coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a new wave of litigation for companies, with allegations of public nuisance, price gouging, misleading marketing claims and more.  The personal care industry is particularly vulnerable to these claims, as many companies are making hand sanitizers and other products that consumers need and may be in short supply. They also have factories and other workplaces that are operating during the pandemic, but were not designed for social distancing.

Attorneys from Shook Hardy & Bacon law firm will provide an overview of this fast-developing litigation landscape, provide tips for avoiding Covid-related litigation, and strategies should the inevitable lawsuits land on your desk. They also will discuss state and federal civil justice efforts to protect and safeguard manufacturers and others from the most speculative cases.
