Overview

This exclusive members-only workshop was held in New York on March 23. This event was the first of a special two-part series focused on implementation of the recently enacted federal cosmetic legislation. 

This workshop was the first in-person opportunity to have a deep-dive working session on MoCRA and PCPC’s expectations on the FDA’s implementation of the new law. The working session allowed members to discuss the substantive provisions of the law, prioritize areas to request FDA guidance, dialogue with peers, share insights on compliance challenges and opportunities, strategize about the industry’s engagement with the FDA and otherwise prepare for implementation of this historic law.   

The second part of this series was held during the PCPC Legal & Regulatory Conference in May 2023. At the conclusion of this two-part series, attendees received a “Navigating MoCRA Toolkit,” a practical handbook to MoCRA compliance for cosmetics companies.
